Fountain Pen Description:

The beautiful Aero fountain pen is inspired by the Zeppelin airship developed at the beginning of the 20th century. The pen is well designed and well balanced. The smooth nib sets it apart from lower cost pens. The Aero is packaged in a presentation box and comes equipped with a converter that allows you to use bottled ink as well as two international standard cartridges.

Supreme Performance

Purchased to replace a pen that was lost during a home-office reorganization that went wrong. The nib is firm and writes incredibly smooth, as did its predecessor, which indicates to me a good consistency of performance within the line. In my experience, Diplomat pens perform as well or better than competitor's pens at much higher price points. The firm + smooth combination makes these pens invaluable for use on paper that is borderline 'fountain pen friendly' because when a feather-light hand is needed to avoid ghosting and/or bleed-through, the Aero can deliver a rich, saturated look with ease. Highly recommended for enthusiasts at all experience levels. The value for money is unmatched.
