Kaweco, Fireblue Liliput

I was on the fence about the Liliput, as I’ve got bigger hands and wasn’t sure how I’d like it for long writing. I wanted a compact pen and decided to take a chance. So far, I’m blown away.

The pen is more than long enough when posted to be comfortable. It’s also quite slim with a hearty weight, which makes for a surprisingly comfortable writing experience.

I got the fine nib, and it writes great. Very smooth and even flow. The fireblue finish is gorgeous and in my opinion, worth the extra cost.

I ordered the liliput fireblue with an extra fine nib as a present. I have had one for years and made fellow stationary addicts jealous. I have a large collection and always seem to revert back to this one. It is compact, light but feels strong, it is not picky and can be thrown in a handbag for later use and come out unscathed.

I recently picked up the Liliput Fireblue...It is stunning! The machining is top notch and has a very quality feel, colour is fantastic and the subtle logos are a nice touch.

I have a small hand and I was looking for a small pen (not a pocket pen for me!). I can actually write short notes unposted and when posted, it has a very nice balance. I find a lot of fountain pens way too heavy at the back when posted.

I also picked up the cognac leather pouch, it's simple, functional and classy.

Also very happy with the service I received from Knight's, they were quick to respond to my inquiries.
