Clairefontaine, Triomphe Pad, White, A5, 50 Sheets, Blank

This type of Claiefontaine paper is wonderful to use! I have used my pickiest pens and inks on this paper. There was no trial and error! The paper stood up to the worst and always looked lovely. No bleed-through or feathering. This is a paper I will definitely buy again.

You might not think to get special paper but you should, especially if you are writing with fountain pens! The A5 size is just right for a quick thank you note or a short letter. The A4 is bigger if you want to write a longer correspondence. I love that it's just a simple white colour, it really shows off the ink you choose to write with. No feathering, no ghosting. The inks I use dry quickly on it, it has a nice weight in the hand when you hold the paper to read. It's a simple thing but a handwritten note makes all the difference in our digital age.
